*Accessed-based transportation* should be the whole game for urbanists and active transportation advocates. My historical research is talking almost all of my time and I have not developed my knowledge on present-day transportation policy, so I greatly appreciate the way you have pulled together the research of Jonathan Levine, Eric Dumbaugh, and Greg Shill in this post. This helps me a bunch.

I think you'll appreciate Jonathan and Greg's paper. I know Jonathan has done even more recently on this topic as well.

And there's tons of new interesting research including from a USC PhD grad Wendy Zhao https://priceschool.usc.edu/news/urban-planning-accessibility-data-maps/

David Levinson has some great new stuff out as well https://www.transportist.net/p/missed-opportunities-using-access

And of course the Accessibility Observatory at University of Minnesota https://www.cts.umn.edu/programs/ao
